What is the date of the event?
The event is set for Saturday, September 16, 2023 with check-in / pre-ride party festivities beginning at 7 PM.
Can I still pick-up my packet?
Yes, you can starting at 7 PM tonight at the corner of Manchester and Arco Ave. Look for the big white tent!
Where do I park?
There is street parking around the Festival area in the Grove Neighborhood. Parking along the streets is done at the risk of the attendee. Please remember to not leave any valuables in your car, or in plain view.
Where is the event?
The event start/finish and festival will take place in The Grove neighborhood this year. By tradition, it is always within the city limits of St. Louis. The best address to plug in to your GPS for directions is 4247 Manchester Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110.
What distance is the bike ride?
You may choose between a short (11 miles) and long (16 miles) ride. Advance choice is not required and the price is the same for either distance.

Who Can Ride?
All ages are welcome, but children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
What does my registration fee go towards?
Funds generated from participant registration fees go toward costs associated with event shirts, and a variety of operational costs such as: official permits, medical personnel, security/police, ride bibs, barricades, signage, entertainment and water. In addition, proceeds also benefit Trailnet
Can I make an additional donation to Trailnet?
Yes, you can do that HERE.
Can I get a refund if I cannot participate?
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds. Costs associated with the pre-planning and ordering of participant amenities well in advance of the ride prohibit us from offering refunds. In addition, refunds are not issued if the event is cancelled due to severe weather, disaster or emergency occurrences that may affect the safety and health of the participants.
Can I transfer my registration to another person if I cannot participate?
Yes, if you would like to transfer your entry to another person, the cost is $10 and can be done online by selecting “Manage My Registration” in your confirmation email.
Can I sell or give my entry to another participant?
No, for liability this is not allowed under any circumstances, you must transfer your ride through Bike Sign Up so the transferee can sign the participant waiver.
Can I participate if I do not have my ride bib on when starting or decide to join the ride without officially completing the registration process?
No, this is not allowed. This is frequently termed “ride bandit” by ride organizers and will be strictly enforced. Course monitors are trained to spot participants who are not displaying a ride bib, and they will be escorted from the course by officials and banned from future Moonlight Ramble events.
What is packet pickup?
All registered participants receive their official ride bib, ride information, and merchandise. There will be limited ride day packet pickup on ride night beginning at 7:00 PM at Arco and Manchester Ave. For additional information on packet pickup location, times, directions etc., please visit our Packet Pickup and Info page
What do I need to bring to pick up my packet?
Your confirmation email, or a printout of the confirmation email you received via email when you registered and your ID.
I registered late and did not get my requested shirt size or get a shirt at all?
To guarantee a ride shirt in your size you will need to register by the T-shirt deadline. Registrations after the T-shirt deadline may be able to purchase a shirt on ride night depending on quantities available.
Can I pick up another participant’s ride bag?
Yes, if you have a printout of the attachment they received via email when they registered.
What if I didn’t get my email confirmation or want to confirm my entry?

What is the weather like on ride night?
Anyone who is a resident of the St. Louis region knows how unpredictable the weather can be. The average start temp at 10 pm is 72 degrees with an average temperature of 67 degrees (based on weather history in August) by the end of the ride.
Do you have any course time limit rules?
The course route re-opens to traffic on a rolling basis from the start and will be completely re-opened by 1:00 AM. Riders cannot leave the starting line after 10:15 PM as the course will begin opening to traffic. The time limit rules will be strictly enforced.
Do you allow participants to use headphones, phones, iPods, etc.?
We strongly discourage the use for safety reasons. If you make a decision to wear a music-playing device during the ride, please keep it at a low level so you can hear special instructions from course officials or emergency vehicles.
Can I run the course?
No, for safety reasons, we do not allow any “runners” on the ride course.
Can I bring my dog, goat, horse, parrot, or other pet?
No, we love our pets but for safety reasons we do not allow any animals on the ride course
Do you offer locker storage for personal belongings, backpacks, bags, etc.?
No, we do not offer locker storage and are not responsible for valuables, backpacks, luggage, bags, or any other personal items you may leave behind while riding. No exceptions.
Will there be a safe place to keep my bike?
There will be limited bike parking available in the Festival area, however riders are responsible for the safety of their bikes. Plan on bringing your own lock if you wish to keep your bike safely secured while enjoying the pre- and post-ride festival.
Can I ride an electric scooter?
No. The Moonlight Ramble is a people powered event. Electric scooters are not allowed on the course during the ride. Non-electric scooter riders are welcome to join in the fun.
Can I ride an E-bike?
Class 1 & 2 e-bikes will be allowed but must not exceed the normal flow of rider traffic or create a danger for the riders around them. Class 3 e-bikes are not allowed on course.
