Organizers of the Moonlight Ramble® bike ride are excited to announce that the race will return on Saturday, August 21st for its 57th edition. The Moonlight Ramble® is the longest running nighttime bike ride in the US and a great source of pride for St. Louis. The ride that began with one rider has grown into an annual tradition with thousands of riders taking to the streets of St. Louis at night under the light of the moon.

Registration Costs

  • Standard Rider- $45 thru 8/20, $50 on day of ride
  • Youth Rider (Age 6-17) – $30
  • Child Rider Ages 1-5 are FREE but still must register for event
  • Premium Rider- $150 (limited space remains!)
  • Virtual Century Ride – $20

Saturday August 21, 2021


  • 7:00 PM- Moonlight Festival Opens with vendor tents, merchandise, bike mechanics and more!
  • 7:00 PM- Packet pick-up and last minute registration opens
  • 10:00 PM- Moonlight Ramble Begins (start line will be open for 15 minutes)
  • 10:15 PM- Start Line Closes (no riders can start after 10:15 PM)
  • 10:30 PM- Live Music starts playing on the Moonlight stage at Manchester and Tower Grove Ave.
  • 11:45 PM – Cut-off for long course riders at the rest stop (City Foundry)
  • 1:00 AM- Moonlight Ramble and Festival Close


The 2021 Ramble start/finish location will be in The Grove! We can’t wait to share one of St. Louis’ hippest and happening places with you!

Course Map

Introducing the 2021 Moonlight Ramble Course! This year’s route takes a visit to the South Side then visits the new City Foundry before heading downtown to catch a glimpse of the Gateway Arch. Visit some of St. Louis’ oldest and newest icons along the way including: The Missouri Botanical Garden, Tower Grove Park, City Foundry STL, SLU, The new St. Louis City Stadium, Union Station, City Hall, Soldier’s Memorial and the Gateway Arch!

Long Route Rest Stop

This year’s long route rest stop will be at the BRAND NEW City Foundry STL! Located in the heart of St. Louis’ Midtown, City Foundry STL pays homage to the city’s industrial roots while celebrating the future of St. Louis hospitality leaders in its central Food Hall. The Foundry’s bar and a handful of their restaurants will be staying open late to serve you! Be sure to plan some time exploring the new venue!

Restaurants in The Grove!

Ladies and gentlemen, the list of amazing restaurants within the Moonlight Festival is long and delicious. You’re not going to want to miss out on trying out all of these amazing restaurants! Those include: The Handlebar, Everest Cafe, Beast Butcher & Block, Open Concept, Pie Guy Pizza, Sanctuaria, Taha’s Twisted Tiki, Sultan Mediterranean, The Gramophone, Vincent Van Doughnut, Sauce on the Side and Grace Meat + Three!


We’ll have Live Music to rock your socks off from 9:00 pm -10:00 pm and 10:45 pm – 1:00 am. This year’s band is Sugar Ray Charles!

There is ample street parking in the Grove on the many neighborhood streets surrounding the Festival. We have also reserved lots within the Cortex district, which is a short ride to the festival. A map of the Cortex lots can be found below.
