The event kicks off and ends at Ballpark Village (601 Clark Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63102).

In addition, proceeds also benefit Hostelling International and Rebuilding Together.
Can I get a refund if I cannot participate?
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds. Costs associated with the pre-planning and ordering of participant amenities well in advance of the ride prohibit us from offering refunds. In addition, refunds are not issued if the event is cancelled due to severe weather, disaster or emergency occurrences that may affect the safety and health of the participants.
Can I transfer my registration to another person if I cannot participate?
No. Because of the rider waiver, we do not currently offer a transfer system. We are exploring ways to implement a transfer system in future rides.
Can I sell or give my entry to another participant?
No, this is not allowed in any circumstances.
Can I participate if I do not have my ride bib on when starting or decide to join the ride without officially completing the registration process?
No, this is not allowed. This is frequently termed “ride bandit” by ride organizers and will be strictly enforced. Course monitors are trained to spot participants who are not displaying a ride bib, and they will be escorted from the course by officials and banned from future Moonlight Ramble events.
What is packet pickup?
All registered participants receive their official ride bib, ride information, and t-shirt (if applicable). There will also be ride day packet pickup onsite at Ballpark Village on Saturday, August 20th beginning at 9:00 PM. . For additional information on packet pickup location, times, directions etc., visit MoonlightRamble.com.
What do I need to bring to pick up my packet?
A printout of the attachment you received via email when you registered.
I arrived late and did not get my requested shirt size?
On a very limited basis, you may be faced with the situation where you go to pick up your packet and the shirt size you requested during the registration process is not available. With any ride which requires large amounts of event shirts, the order must be placed months in advance of the event, so a certain amount of estimation of sizes takes place. Even with over-ordering it is not an exact science, although if this happens, it generally affects a small amount of participants. To ensure you receive your requested size shirt, we encourage you to pick up your packet on August 12 or 13 and, if opting for day of pickup, as early as possible that night.
Can I pick up another participant’s ride bag?
Yes, if you have a printout of the attachment they received via email when they registered.
What if I didn’t get my email confirmation or want to confirm my entry?
Be sure to check you spam folder. You can also reach out via email on our Contact Page at MoonlightRamble.com.
What is the weather like on ride night?
Anyone who is a resident of the St. Louis region knows how unpredictable the weather can be. The average start temp at midnight is 72 degrees with an average temperature of 67 degrees (based on weather history on August 20) by the end of the ride.
Do you have any course time limit rules?
The course route re-opens to traffic, according to a 3-hour ride, at 3:00 AM. Riders cannot leave the starting line after 1:30 AM and every effort will be made to ensure this happens. The time limit rules will be strictly enforced.
Do you allow participants to use headphones, phones, iPods, etc.?
Although we do not restrict such devices, we strongly discourage the use for safety reasons. If you make a decision to wear a music-playing device during the ride, please keep it at a low level so you can hear special instructions from course officials or emergency vehicles.

No, for safety reasons, we do not allow any “runners” on the ride course.
Can I bring my dog, goat, horse, parrot, or other pet?
Do you offer locker storage for personal belongings, backpacks, bags, etc.?
No, we do not offer locker storage and are not responsible for valuables, backpacks, luggage, bags, or any other personal items you may leave behind while riding. No exceptions.
